Winter is here, and it is getting colder every day. This morning I found a dead bird on our balcony, and it is a female Common Blackbird (Turdus merula) just like this one. There is often some bird touring on our balcony, probably attracted by all the plants there; but I don't think I saw this one before.
I buried her in our community garden, under a tree.
